Harvard and Stanford Lecturer John Kao demolishes the myth that creativity cannot be fostered within the corporate environment.

"In the beginner's mind, there are many possibilities. In the expert's mind, there are only a few." - Shunryu Suzuki, Zen Teacher

"The choice is stark: create or fail." - John Kao, Author, Lecturer, Entrepreneur

Harvard and Stanford Lecturer John Kao demolishes the myth that creativity cannot be fostered within the corporate environment. Not only can creativity be cultivated within corporations, creative capital may be a company's most important asset, providing the innovative thinking that will give companies a distinct competitive advantage.

Kao links the creative process to jamming in jazz. Just as musicians improvise in a jam session, a group of business people can take an idea, challenge each other's imagination, and produce an entirely new set of possibilities. The video shows how these companies employed "Jamming" into their organizations: IDEO, a leading industrial design firm, SENCO, a tool manufacturing plant, and Coca-Cola.
