How can I play videos from my local network?
We provide an external hard drive that plugs into your local server’s USB port. All of the videos are there. Each video is played from your server so you have no firewall or bandwidth issues that often hamper Internet streaming. Outside the office you can view videos over the Internet from our master server - giving your staff complete flexibility!
What subjects are included in the LOC library?
The library covers over 30 subject matter/compliance categories on today’s most important HR needs – harassment prevention, diversity, leadership, teamwork, communications, coping with change, time management, and many more.
How do customers utilize the programs?
LOC is a desktop or laptop delivery service. There are two program delivery options: 1. On-site: We deliver the programs on a hard drive for connection to your server, on your side of the firewall, on your network. Simple access right to your employee desktops, laptops. No plug-ins, ready to go. 2. Our Server: We store and stream the programs from our servers, through your firewall to employee desktops, laptops.
How will my employees be informed about the service?
LearnCom will provide a customer branded website for the LOC service with appropriate web pages listing titles, learning objectives, descriptions, running times.
Will employees be able to preview the titles?
Can we add our own proprietary programs to the library?
Yes. The LOC service is designed to be flexible and deliver customer proprietary programs. A set-up fee will be required to digitize, store and deliver customer titles and add information to the customer branded website.
Does LOC provide LMS type services and reports?
The LOC service includes monthly detailed utilization reports by employee/ by title.
Are support materials available for LOC programs?
Yes. We provide training leaders guides, participant materials, PowerPointsŪ and other materials which are designed for classroom learning at LearnCom?s website: (www.learncom.com).
Will the LOC service be updated?
Yes. As new titles are produced, and additional producers sign up, the library will grow.
Is there a pilot or demonstration site where we can test the service?

How are the program copyrights protected?.
LOC uses Microsoft Digital Rights Management encryption, the best copyright protection available today.
What does the LOC service cost?
There are two components to the full library LOC pricing: 1. Set-up License: This covers our cost to provide the titles to your employee population, customizing the branded website, technical support, storage and delivery. It is based on the number of employees in your organization that you want to access the system and their locations. A one time only cost. 2. Utilization License: This is based on your estimate of the actual utilization of the service by your employees and is based on number of employees and number of titles. Licenses are recommended for one year initially after which they can be adjusted to actual utilization and renewed. Pricing will be provided on request by your LearnCom Account Manager.
